Last updated: 26 August 2026

1. Who we are

Subseazen Engineering Services Ltd (“Subseazen”, “we”, “us”) operates this website. Our registered office is 3rd Floor, 86–90 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NE, United Kingdom. For any question about this policy or about how we handle your personal data, contact us at info@subseazen.com.

For the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, Subseazen is the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

2. What we collect

We only collect personal data that you choose to give us. If you submit the quote request form, that is your name, company name, email address, telephone number, the capability you are interested in, the project location and the content of your message.

If you contact us by email, telephone or WhatsApp, we hold the contact details and message content you provide through those channels.

This website does not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies or third-party tracking. We do not build profiles of visitors and we do not carry out automated decision-making.

3. Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We use the information you submit to respond to your enquiry, prepare and issue quotations, deliver goods or services you order, and maintain the commercial and quality records our management system requires.

Our lawful basis is normally the performance of a contract with you or the taking of steps at your request before entering into a contract. Where you are enquiring on behalf of an organisation, we also rely on our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and administering our client relationships. Where we are required to keep records for tax, accounting or certification purposes, we rely on compliance with a legal obligation.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for marketing purposes. We may share it with our email and website hosting providers acting on our instructions, with professional advisers such as accountants and auditors, with certification and accreditation bodies where an audit requires it, and with any authority where disclosure is required by law.

Our offices are located in the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates and India, so your data may be accessed by our staff outside the UK. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we put appropriate safeguards in place, such as the International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a contract are retained for up to two years so we can follow up and evidence what was quoted. Where a contract is entered into, we keep the associated records for the period required by applicable tax, contractual and certification obligations, generally not exceeding seven years from the end of the relationship. After that, data is deleted or anonymised.

6. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure, including transport encryption on this website, restricted mailbox access and access controls on our internal systems. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed as completely secure, so please do not send us commercially sensitive or confidential technical information through the website form until we have agreed a secure channel.

7. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to be informed about how your data is used, to request a copy of it, to have inaccurate data corrected, to request erasure, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability where processing relies on consent or contract and is carried out by automated means. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@subseazen.com. We will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

8. Third-party links

This website embeds a Google Maps frame on the contact page and links to WhatsApp for messaging. Those services are operated by third parties under their own privacy policies, and using them may involve data being processed by those providers. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of external websites.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The version published on this page is the current one, and the date at the top shows when it was last revised.
